February 2, 2006

Gene Johnson, CEO of Hydrogen Vehicle Systems, announced today that the Adopt-A-WattTM program currently has 543 cities committed to the program.

The Adopt-A-WattTM program works with a number of organizations that promote clean energy, including the US Mayors Climate Protection Agreement, Cool Cities, Clean Cities and the Apollo Alliance.

Adopt-A-Watt's H2 HELP (Hydrogen Highway Emergency Lighting and Peakshaving Project) uses the nation's highways and billboards to promote and deploy a distributed hydrogen energy grid throughout the United States.
